But swapping out the prototypeenginef.dll file from Prototype_All_Res.zip download fixed it right up. Tried a dozen different solutions like forcing it to run in 600x400 or w/e, reinstalled it 7 or 8 times, nothing worked. Couldn't get out of it with any keyboard commands, had to restart every time I tried to play it. I was super excited to play this, got myself all hyped up for it before I left for work and left it downloading to play when I got back, and the first thing it did when I started it up was absolutely freeze up my comp and give me a black screen that slowly faded to white then to blue.
